ImperfectFruit’s mission is to reduce the amount of wasted produce while also helping financially challenged families obtain healthy food. We aim to buy anything deemed imperfect and sell it if it is healthy to eat. We are going to sell the produce for cheap online and in mini stations that we will set up in low-income neighborhoods. This will make eating healthy convenient and cheap rather than expensive and a hassle.
Furthermore, we will be giving anything that doesn’t sell to our local round rock serving center for free to continue the impact we are having in our world. This is a non-profit organization so none of the profit will come to us and instead will be put back into the organization to expand it or it will be donated to Feeding America. ImperfectFruit hopes to solve many people’s problems with our solution, and hopes to create an everlasting impact on the world.
